Saturday 18 October 2014

A group of 25 Volunteers visited Bristol. The visit included a guided walking tour around the Bristol city centre area. The tour, led by a local historian, Mr Edson, included Bristol Museum which has a significant slavery exhibition.  James Dawkins from the University of Central England also be travelled with us, who  was a guest speaker at the Launch event back in May.  The aim of the learning journey was to explore the ways in which elements of the transatlantic slave trade are depicted in Bristol.
